Let's explore a remote chain of lakes on the Hamilton-Fulton county line! A marked DEC trail leads from Pinnacle Road to County Line Lake, but to see the others in the cluster (Duck, Winter, Fisher Vly, and Little Oxbarn) you must venture off the beaten path.
The main goal for the day will be the 3.7-mile foot trail to County Line Lake. This route climbs 1000 feet, and if the snow is fresh and deep we may have our hands full just getting this far. But if the snow conditions are favorable, let's venture forth and see what there is to see!

Hiking Distance: The hiking trail to County Line Lake is 3.7 miles long and climbs 1000 feet. There are some stream crossings that could be a problem without adequate ice. If we opt to bushwhack to the other neighboring ponds, this could add significant distance to the hike.
