SURF COAST - Point Impossible to Torquay Ramble (car shuffle)

With EYCZ - Side by Side - Geelong, Bellarine + Surf Coast

Mon, Sep 22 • 10:00 AM - Mon, Sep 22 • 12:00 PM

Escaping Your Comfort Zone - Side by Side Nature Walks is for women who want chilled out, short and slow adventures. We don’t care about size, speed or fitness. We go slow, we go short, we leave no one behind. It’s about fun in the outdoors, because we can!  These walks are part of an intergenerational program, building connections between women aged 18-30 and women aged 55+.

📌 Point Impossible to Torquay Ramble (car shuffle)

🌊 Half beach wander, half clifftop walk with ocean views
🚶 Slow, easy-moderate walk on sand + paths (1–1.5 hrs). No one is left behind.
🍴 BYO lunch and mug (tea/coffee/hot choc provided - finish is near the Salty Dog Cafe if you want to buy lunch)
🐕 Dogs allowed (the beach is an off-leash area, please be considerate of others in the group if you choose to bring your dog - no trip hazards please!)
🚻 Toilets at Point Impossible car park + Torquay Fishermans beach
🅿️ Free parking at Fishermans Beach, opposite 76 The Esplanade, Torquay.
🚗 We will arrange a car shuffle as this is a 1 way walk.  We will all meet at the end, and take 2 cars to the start.

ABOUT POINT IMPOSSIBLE - TORQUAY
This walk combines the best of both worlds - a peaceful beach stroll along the sand from Point Impossible, then a return along the clifftop path with sweeping views of the Surf Coast. You’ll see surfers, seabirds, and dramatic views of the ocean all the way to Torquay. Note: Point Impossible is a "clothing-optional" beach.  Whilst we will remain clothed, just a heads up so you are not taken by surprise.

FOOD + CUPPAS
After the walk, we’ll enjoy a BYO lunch - finish near Salty Dog so you can also buy lunch there. I’ll bring the tea, coffee and hot chocolate.

Many of us come from similar areas, so please drop a note in the chat if you can offer a lift or need one.  It's great to offer a small contribution (or even a coffee) to your driver.
