Ride Pace (Important for those not familiar with BikeRNick rides)
This is not a race. At the front I will not be exceeding the posted speed limit. If you are directly behind me, don't expect to go any faster. If you have marked a corner and want to catch me up, that's your prerogative as long as you are considerate to other road users and don't bring the club's name into disrespect (i.e. riding like a dick). If you are not one of the "fast" ones, stick to a speed YOU are comfortable with - there is no pressure to "keep up". It's my responsibility as ride leader to slow down if I need someone behind me to mark a corner. If you don't want to go as fast as others, no problem, but do watch your mirrors and move over to let people through. 20mph, 30mph & 40mph limits will be strictly adhered to. You should not worry if you feel you've been "left behind" sometimes, the tail gunner will never pass you and there's no expectation of having to "keep up" – the corner marker system means you won't get lost no matter what.

Details of the day:
This ride visits 5 of the cafe's on the Bike&Brew passport list (see below). The idea is to visit each one, buy a brew, get a stamp, have a quick chat and move on to the next one (each stop will be 30- 40 minutes depending on queues. At Grumpy's we'll have lunch. The ride finishes at the Shed Tap Room and Deli in Peterborough. From there you can head home or follow me to the A1 and head home. This is the third of several Bike&Brew rides I plan, but these 5 cafe's won't be visited again.
