We are a group of skeptics, atheists, agnostics and the nonreligious cognizant of the pitfalls of groupthink or any in-group/out-group labels and behaviors. As skeptics we attempt to prefers beliefs and conclusions that are reliable and valid to ones that are comforting or convenient, and therefore rigorously and openly apply the methods of science and reason to all empirical claims, especially their own. A skeptic provisionally proportions acceptance of any claim to valid logic and a fair and thorough assessment of available evidence, and studies the pitfalls of human reason and the mechanisms of deception so as to avoid being deceived by others or themselves. Skepticism values method over any particular conclusion. Join us for casual discussions and events with other like-minded people. All memberships will be reviewed at six month intervals. If you have not attended any events in that period you membership may be terminated. However, you can rejoin at any point thereafter if you do find future attendance will be possible.

Our club is for small dogs who love to meet, mingle and have fun. We were formed in 2007 and our gatherings usually have a theme or activity. They are a great way to get to know other small dog owners and have a good time with our little canines. Be prepared to have some fun.
We are reading all of Shakespeare's play in chronological order.

Building Blocks is a network for women in Architecture. It's place to keep in touch with any aspects of architecture from small practice issues, sharing resources, discussing ideas, looking for help with that tricky detail, CPD or anything relating to architecture you might want to discuss. This group is about architecture in the broader context, but it is also here to encourage women through all phases of the profession, to provide a support network and shared knowledge resource. We meet up formally once a month (WAM- women architecture meetups), each time focusing on a different topic. In between, we encourage members to use the discussions page to keep in touch.
