Q: What does MOMS Club® do?
A: We meet during the day, when at-home moms most need activities and support, and kids are always welcome. When the weather's nice, we do park days, kid-friendly walks and hikes. In the winter, we do playdates in members' homes, indoor play areas, café chats, book club, and field trips (fire station, horse farms, post office, movie theater, pumpkin patch, etc.) MOMS Club also seeks opportunities to benefit the community, whenever possible.
Q: Is there a fee for MOMS Club?
A: Dues are $25/year and go toward our chapter's international dues, web hosting, community outreach, and snacks/supplies for special events.
Q: Are my kids welcome at MOMS Club events?
A: Yes! Except for a monthly moms night, activities are during the day and children are welcome and not separated from their mothers.
Q: Can I try out MOMS Club before officially joining?
A: Yes! Prospective members are invited to attend one or two of our monthly business meetings (called "Monthly Socials") before deciding whether to join.
Q: What do I get with my membership?
A: You have access to our activity calendar and our Facebook group so you can attend events and easily connect with the friends you meet through MOMS Club.
Q: Do I have to be a stay-at-home-mom to participate?
A: The main purpose of MOMS Club is to support at-home moms, but any mom who wants daytime activities is welcome.
Q: Do I have to attend a certain number of events?
A: No. You can attend as few or as many events as fits your schedule. The more you attend, the more you will get to know other members, and the more you get more out of MOMS Club.
Q: Do I have to be a resident of Narnia to be a member of MOMS Club?
A: Narnia is our "home base." If you live outside our club's boundaries, we can help you find a chapter in your area, start a new chapter, or initiate the process for considering an out-of-territory membership to our chapter.
Q: Is MOMS Club affiliated with any political or religious organizations?
A: No. We are a non-profit, non-religious, non-political organization. Our only mission is to offer daytime support to moms and their children.
