Manistee River Overnight

Camp at Baxter Bridge State Forest Campground Friday night.  Saturday,  08:00 shuttle to Veterans Park in Mesick, 40 minute round trip. We will launch at the Old US 131 Forest canoe pull out, this is right across the road from the campground.   We will stop at 23 rd for a  lunch break and camp along the Manistee Saturday night, hoping to camp at the spot we did in February which is right across the river from an eagle ? nest. We will make make a stop at Harvey Bridge on the second day. 

This is a 32 mile paddle. Please pack for all weather conditions. As of now, low 70’s during the day, and mid 50’s at night.
