****THIS WALK IS A LITTLE BIT DIFFERENT FROM USUAL****
It happens every Tuesday evening from the same meeting spot at Eastern Beach, Geelong, but each week the group decides together which way to wander along the waterfront. It's not "led" by Richelle, though she will often come along, its simply catching up as a group to go for a stroll.
Escaping Your Comfort Zone - Side by Side Nature Walks is for women who want chilled out, short and slow adventures. We don’t care about size, speed or fitness. We go slow, we go short, we leave no one behind. It’s about fun in the outdoors, because we can! These walks are part of an intergenerational program, building connections between women aged 18-30 and women aged 55+.
📌 Tuesday Night Strolls – Eastern Beach & Gardens, Geelong
🌿 Join us for a relaxed weekly Tuesday night stroll exploring Eastern Beach, Eastern Gardens, Rippleside Park and beyond. Each week offers something a little different, look for stingrays along the sea wall, wander through the gardens, or take in the views from Limeburners Point. And the sunset, what a great spot for sunset!!!
🚶 A casual, social walk. The pace is slow and friendly - this is no race!
💦 On warm nights, we’ll dip our feet (or more!) in the bay, don’t worry, not where the stingrays hang out! Some nights might even finish with an ice cream stop.
♿ Suitable for anyone without mobility issues. Undulating paths, mostly concrete, with plenty of breathers and photo stops.
📅 Every Tuesday night.
🍴 BYO thermos with your drink of choice for afterwards. As this walk is "group led" Richelle won't always be there with the tea and coffee! Baked goods to share are always welcome if you are that way inclined!
🐕 Well behaved dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a short lead at all times, must not be a trip hazard for other participants, and must be picked up after.
🚗 Carpool if you can - it’s easier to find parking and better for the planet.
🚗 Meet at Eastern Beach carpark (Richie Blvd), halfway down, at the only double sized rotunda in the carpark. It seems like an odd spot, but if its busy, its more likely you will get a carpark here. See the bottom of the page for a map link and photo.

WHAT TO BRING
CARPOOLING
Carpooling is a great way to save car park space, cut down our environmental footprint, and travel with new friends. Many of us come from similar areas, so please drop a note in the chat if you can offer a lift or need one. It's great to offer a small contribution (or even a coffee) to your driver.
