ABOUT BARWON RIVER RAMBLE
This is a walk along the Barwon River that most people don't see, and its one of my faves. Paths and boardwalks follow the calm waters of the narrow river as it winds its way past wetlands, mangroves and bird-filled shallows. Then we head out into Farmland, moo-ing at the cows, before meeting the river back again. With flat paths and plenty of scenery, it’s a relaxed walk where you can soak up the peaceful riverside atmosphere and fresh coastal air. We will finish with a cuppa by the river, BYO mug and chair!

FOOD + CUPPAS
After the walk, we’ll have a cuppa - I’ll bring the tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Feel free to bring something to share!
WHAT TO BRING
MEETING POINT
Park at the end of Sheepwash Rd, Barwon Heads - carpark is on the river. https://maps.app.goo.gl/Foe4qBh72Rgg99wr8. Look for the 4x4 with the EYCZ branding!
CARPOOLING
Carpooling is a great way to save car park space, cut down our environmental footprint, and travel with new friends. Many of us come from similar areas, so please drop a comment in the chat if you can offer a lift or need one. It's great to offer a small contribution (or even a coffee) to your driver.
