ABOUT THIS WALK:

Starting from the Torquay Spring Creek Carpark (near the Torquay SLSC), this beautiful coastal walk heads toward Jan Juc via Rocky Point Lookout. Expect sweeping ocean views, dramatic cliffs, and that fresh sea air that makes you instantly slow down.

We’ll take our time along the track, with plenty of stops to soak in the views and catch our breath on the gentle climbs. Rocky Point is a highlight, offering incredible vantage points along the Surf Coast before we continue toward Jan Juc and then return the same way.

This is a slightly more adventurous walk than our usual flat routes, but still very achievable at a slow, supportive pace, with plenty of “wow” moments along the way.

WHAT TO BRING

  • Water: at least 1L (more if it’s hot)

  • Clothes: comfy, with layers you can add/remove

  • Shoes: any comfortable shoes with laces

  • Raincoat: if you have one and rain is possible

  • First aid/medications: Your health is your responsibility.  Bring your own first aid kit.  Don't forget any puffers, antihistamines, epipens etc if you use them. Remember you are in the outdoors.

CARPOOLING
Carpooling is a great way to save car park space, cut down our environmental footprint, and travel with new friends. Many of us come from similar areas, so please drop a note in the chat if you can offer a lift or need one.  It's great to offer a small contribution (or even a coffee) to your driver.
