Escaping Your Comfort Zone - Side by Side Nature Walks is for women who want chilled out, short and slow adventures. We don’t care about size, speed or fitness. We go slow, we go short, we leave no one behind. It’s about fun in the outdoors, because we can! These walks are part of a program building connections between women aged 50+.
As a special event, we are headed to the Geelong Botanic Gardens after dark on a Wednesday evening, to experience the stunning Bloom Eclipse Light Show.
Here's all the info on the event: https://eclipselightshow.com.au/
Please buy your own tickets for the 6.30pm timeslot - they cost $17.50. I'm not sure how popular it will be, so suggest getting your tix early.
We will meet at 6.10pm at the entrance to the Botanical Gardens for the 6.30pm start. We will spend around an hour in the gardens. (main entrance pic below)
Please leave time for parking - it may require a walk, so carpool where possible.
There will be food trucks there for yummy food and hot drinks - I heard a rumor there is donuts??!!!
It will be COLD, so rug up and be prepared. This is a very relaxed stroll, so be warm to start with. Hot hands sachets in your pockets are great for keeping warm if you feel the cold!
