Event Details

I don't know about you, but after lockdown I'm in the need of some regular activity to get the blood pumping!!

Monday nights until December, I'm going to be walking different sections of the Kororoit Creek Trail and I would love some company :) Pretty fields & creek views with some fun little things along the way. Each week may be a slightly different starting place and as sunset moves I may push the time back a bit, so check each event carefully.

This week we will start at Buckingham Reserve, Sunshine West and head SOUTH for about 30-45 mins, then turn back. The trail has some undulations but no big hills, and is paved the entire way. Shared pedestrian/cycle path.

Escaping Your Comfort Zone is Body Positive Adventures for women and non-binary crew.  The outdoors don't care about your size, your speed or your fitness, and neither do we!  100% body positive, no focus on weightloss. Just having fun in the outdoors, cause we can!

This is 100% achievable for anyone without mobility issues, and we will take is slowly, with plenty of breather stops.

Hike Leader: *** Susan - I'll either be driving a dark grey Hyundai i30 or cycling (my bike has crochet flowers on the basket). I'll be wearing some sort of EYCZ merch (hoodie, tshirt, buff) so you can find me.  ****

Important COVID Information -

  • Due to Victorian government health directives on community sport and recreation, all participants must show hike leaders proof of their full vaccination status, or a valid exemption, prior to every walk they attend. If you cannot provide this information, you will be asked to not participate.
  • All activities will be capped at 12 participants or less, at the leaders discretion.
  • You can RSVP to only 1 event per week to keep it fair.
  • All participants are required to CARRY a mask outside. Masks are no longer required outdoors, but please pay close attention to your social distancing if you have your mask off.
  • Carpooling is discouraged, if you are, you should treat the car as an inside space, and wear a mask.
  • Most importantly - PLEASE BE PATIENT! Volunteer leaders may take time to put up walks, as they have their own lives to catch up on. They also may need time to get comfortable with larger numbers. Many leaders and participants may feel anxious about being in groups again. Do not pressure any leaders to increase walk capacity.
  • Please review the latest COVID information that applies to this hike
