It’s time to dust off this well used ride description.
The longest continuously running (now in heading into its seventh year) TV themed LMRC ride since the Guv'nor used to do a Coronation Street themed ride back in the early 80's. That ride would take in all of the cobbled streets and ginger toms lying on shed roofs that he could find.
A loosely 1980s TV show themed ride to Rye.
Knight Rider I eventually took place on 23/7/20. I really enjoyed it so I thought I’d clone the event and run it again and again and again in a new and improved version. The route there will be scenic and twisty, the route back will be A roads (some sections are unlit). I'll do some variation of this ride as often as my waistline will allow. If the weather looks poop I'll cancel so check Groups Place before you leave.
I like Fish and Chips, you like Fish and Chips, we all like Fish and Chips. Let's ride our bikes to get fish and chips from somewhere not too near but not too far away and for added good measure we can do it on a school night.

Start: ESSO PRATTS BOTTOM. 0 miles. Arrive at the time stated above for a ride brief, and we'll crack on to make the most of the light.
If you can’t make the start, meet us in Rye - the bike parking at the harbour is back in action.
Stop: toilet/leg stretch: 40 miles at BP Hurst Green . If the light is good we'll put a lap in around Jury's Gap. This will most definitely be on the cards.
Stop: Supper 59 miles Rye Harbour
End- BP M&S near Pembury on the A21 84 miles.
Fuel: at the start, at the middle, at the nearly end and at the end.
125cc/CBT/slow bike/rider Friendly - No, however, the first 3 are negotiable, the last 1 is not. I am prepared to be convinced, DM me
Pillions who have a seat arranged and some way to get home from the end point are very welcome

What to bring• A bike in good roadworthy condition. See P.O.W.D.E.R.S - make sure your lights are in good working order it will be dark and its scary riding bikes in the dark without lights• Breakdown Cover that will recover you home in the event of a breakdown\accident
