Ride Pace  (Important for those not familiar with BikeRNick rides)
This is not a race. At the front I will not be exceeding the posted speed limit. If you are directly behind me, don't expect to go any faster. If you have marked a corner and want to catch me up, that's your prerogative as long as you are considerate to other road users and don't bring the club's name into disrespect (i.e. riding like a dick). If you are not one of the "fast" ones, stick to a speed YOU are comfortable with - there is no pressure to "keep up". It's my responsibility as ride leader to slow down if I need someone behind me to mark a corner. If you don't want to go as fast as others, no problem, but do watch your mirrors and move over to let people through.

Details of the day:

We did Aston Hill on the way back from OnYerBike the other day and it's almost as good (maybe better) then Fish Hill. It's just as bendy\fast and there's no traffic, no idiots on bikes pulling wheelies, no photographers encouraging misbehaviour (the debate goes on) and NO POLICE. It's also 60 miles closer so we save almost 3 hours getting there and back - which means we can go and have fun and still be home early.
So this ride is dedicated to Aston Hill and we'll be doing it at least 3 times.

What to bring

  • A bike in good roadworthy condition. See P.O.W.D.E.R.S
