TCP=Twin Cities Parachutists 😀 - My daughter Jamie & I are looking for people to join us on a tandem skydive. I did it once when I was in my 20's & my daughter did it on her 18th birthday. We're both fired up to do it once again. No high water, tree strainers or hidden boulders to worry about, just take a Cessna up to 13,000' & jump.
We've put down our $50 deposit for Saturday, October 1st 9:00 am. Below I've pasted some information from the Skydive Twin Cities. For complete information & to register, go to Skydive Twin Cities website.
If you book a reservation, after selecting 'Book a Tandem' a calendar screen is presented. At the very bottom there is a 'Join a Group' link. Click on it, and on the the next screen, enter 159831 for the Group ID. This will make you part of our group.
Relatives/friends are encouraged to come out to watch.
Here's a good video of a Skydive Twin Cities tandem jump.

Skydive Twin Cities FAQ's
How long does the entire process take?
Plan on spending at least half a day with us, possibly longer. Normally, it is less than that, but there are many factors that may extend that time for example, weather delays. Feel free to bring items to entertain yourself, books, magazines, balls, frisbees, etc. We also have WiFi available, skydiving videos, gas grills, a pavilion, picnic area and more.
Can my friends and family watch me skydive?
Yes. We encourage friends and/or family to join you. We have lawn chairs for spectators to sit in while watching the skydiving along with a picnic area with a pavilion and gas grills.Â
If the weather is bad, how will I know if I should come to the dropzone or not?
We will try to call you approximately two hours before your scheduled appointment if we need to reschedule your skydive due to weather. If you have any weather concerns, please call us prior to heading to the dropzone.
Should I show up earlier than my scheduled time?
No. Your appointment time is the time you should check-in. You are welcome and encouraged to come early and watch other people skydiving.
What should I wear to make my first skydive?
Wear comfortable clothing suitable for the current weather conditions. You will be wearing a jumpsuit over your clothing for the skydive. It is recommended that you wear clothing that will not restrict your movement or will be uncomfortable under a snug harness. For example, baggy jeans may bunch up under the jumpsuit and harness. Wear athletic type shoes without hooks. No flip flops or other shoes that are not secured to your feet.
Should I eat before my skydive?
It's a good idea to eat a light meal or snack before you head to the dropzone.
Do you require a deposit or charge a cancellation fee?
A $50 non-refundable deposit is required upon booking. The deposit will be applied toward your final bill, except as outlined in our cancellation policy.

Do you offer videos of tandem skydives?
Yes! We offer video and photos for both tandem and solo skydives, and they are amazing! ($149)
