About Us

Like to be outdoors doing something active all year round? Let's meet up and bicycle (on road or off), hike, walk, kayak, snowshoe, cross-country ski or even go sledding.

Most events will be within 30 minutes of Kenosha. This is not a hard-and-fast rule, but there are already so many groups and events in Milwaukee and Chicago. This group aims to be primarily local for those in Kenosha, Racine and Northern Lake (IL) Counties.

The group was started in October, 2014 on Meetup.com. We have since completely transitioned here on Groups Place .

Although we amassed a membership of about 1600 on Meetup, only a small percentage of those folks actually participated. We have a strong core group of regular members who have become friends, and we always welcome newcomers. We were all new here once!
